When did you move to the U.S. and why?
I came to US in December 2010 to study English that I needed for my job in Russia. I came straight to Denver, Colorado because I had few friends here. I fall in love with the Rocky Mountains, people, and fresh crisp air, so I never left back.
How tall are you and what are your sizes?
I’m 5’7” (169 in centimetres). I usually wear size X-Small or 0, and size 25 in jeans. I have very narrow hips and small chest. I do love baggy clothes though, so sometimes I wear size small. Those are my measurements 32-23- 34 in inches (82-58- 88 in centimetres).
Do you work out?
To be honest with you, I should work out more. I’m really trying to go to gym at list twice per week. It doesn’t always happen. I also have a very active job. I run around 3-4 miles per day on a regular basis.
Why Spiffy?
A lot of you might think, what is spiffy and why would you call a life and style blog this way. If we just google the definition of Spiffy, it comes out like smart in appearance, fashionable, well dressed, elegant, trendy, stylish, chic, sharp, snazzy. All those adjectives perfectly describe my way of looking at fashion, trends, and trying new styles. You always need to think about the way you look and how you present yourself, where and how you shop, what’s appropriate for the occasion, what trend worth investing in and so on. I hope my blog will help you to be smart and stylish.
What are your fashion icons?
Olsen sisters and Olivia Palermo. I know they are very different but I just love how effortless their looks are.
What got you into blogging and styling?
Since I remember myself, I was always interested in fashion. In school I was helping my girlfriends to get dressed and put outfits together. Then in university, I had few customers that I did personal shopping for. Then I started making custom designed clothes for women. Fashion has been always a big part of my life. Now I want to share my passion with you and show you how to use it in your day to day life. There are more details on my ABOUT page.
Where do you like to shop/ favorite stores?
I like to shop online, that’s why Nordstrom is my go-to. (Free shipping and returns Dahh!). I also love Urban Outfitters for casual shopping. Asos.com for unique finds and fast fashion. Sacks Fifth Avenue, Harrods and Farfetch, if I want to treat myself. On the other hand, every time I travel outside my city, I go boutique shopping. I just can’t skip it. It’s part of my travel experience. hat’s how I get the feeling of a new place.
